We introduce in this talk a new block preconditioner for solving the saddle point linear systems. The proposed method is developed from an augmented reformulation of the saddle point problem into a new linear system with an almost block triangular coefficient matrix. Theoretical results are derived on the eigenvalue distribution of the preconditioned matrix, and an efficient algorithmic implementation is developed and presented. Several numerical examples are reported to support the theoretical findings and to illustrate the favourable convergence properties of the proposed preconditioner, also compared to other popular solvers for saddle point problems.

羅衛(wèi)華,電子科技大學(xué)計(jì)算數(shù)學(xué)博士,湖南文理學(xué)院教授,圍繞偏微分方程數(shù)值方法和大型線(xiàn)性方程組的迭代預(yù)處理求解進(jìn)行研究,以第一作者身份在《Mathematics and Computers in Simulation》、《Numerical Functional Analysis and Optimization》、《Applied Mathematics Letters》、《Applied Mathematics and Computation》等國(guó)際學(xué)術(shù)期刊上發(fā)表學(xué)術(shù)研究論文20余篇,主持四川省教育廳重點(diǎn)項(xiàng)目以及湖南省優(yōu)秀青年基金。
