Interzeolite conversion (IZC) transforms parent zeolites into daughter frameworks through hydrothermal treatment, offering faster synthesis, novel materials, and potential NOx abatement applications. FAU-type zeolites demonstrate this efficient alternative to conventional methods.

主講人簡(jiǎn)介:

Dr. Ana Pal?i? is a Senior Research Associate at the Ruder Bo?kovi? Institute (Zagreb, Croatia), specializing in zeolite synthesis, interzeolite conversion, and catalytic applications for environmental remediation (e.g., NH3-SCR-DeNOx). She holds a Ph.D. (2012) and M.Sc. (2007) in Chemistry from the University of Zagreb, with postdoctoral training at ENSICAEN, France (20132015). Since 2008, she has progressed from Assistant to Senior Researcher at RBI, leading projects on copper-modified zeolites, mechanochemical synthesis, and sustainable materials. Her work spans fundamental studies (e.g., nucleation mechanisms, acid site control) to applied research (e.g., NOx abatement, wastewater treatment). With 50+ publications, she collaborates internationally, reviews for top journals, and mentors students. Awards include RBIs annual prize (2020, 2024) and the Inorganic Chemistry Frontiers Reviewer Award (2023). She chairs the Croatian Zeolite Association and organizes international conferences.
